Relaunch is a small, free pilot run by a few engineers helping people who have been laid off find their next job. We ask for personal information — including your resume and salary details — so we should be straightforward about what happens to it.

Who is responsible for your data

Relaunch is not a registered company. It is run by a small group of individuals, contactable at relaunch.pilot@gmail.com. We decide how your information is used, so any question or complaint should come to us directly.

What we collect, and why

If you apply as a candidate, through our application form:

• Name, email, phone number and city — so we can contact you
• Your resume, LinkedIn profile and work history — so we can match you to roles
• Current and expected salary, notice period and employment status (including whether you were laid off) — so we only approach roles that realistically fit
• How your job search has gone so far, including how many interviews you have had — this is how we measure whether the pilot actually helped you

If you post a role or share a contact:

• Your name, company, work email and phone — so we can send you suitable candidates
• Details of the role you are hiring for
• If you share someone else's professional contact details, we treat them as confidential, never publish them, and remove them immediately on request

When you visit this website:

• We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies and without tracking you across sites. This website sets no cookies at all, which is why you see no cookie banner.

Who we share it with

The whole point of Relaunch is to put your profile in front of people who hire. We share your resume and details with recruiters, hiring managers and founders only in line with the permission you gave on the application form — where you can also ask us to check with you before every individual approach.

We do not sell your data, do not share it with advertisers, and do not publish recruiter contact details to anyone.

We use Google Forms and Google Sheets to collect and store responses, so your information is held on Google's infrastructure and is also subject to Google's privacy policy.

How long we keep it

For as long as we are actively helping you, and up to a year afterwards so we can measure whether the pilot worked and reconnect if a relevant role appears. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold, correct it, stop sharing it with anyone, or delete it entirely. One email to relaunch.pilot@gmail.com is enough — no forms, no reasons needed. Withdrawing consent will not cost you anything, though it may mean we can no longer help with your search.

What we do not promise

We cannot guarantee interviews or a job. Outcomes depend on your profile, the role and the market. We are honest about that on the home page too.

Changes

If this changes meaningfully we will update the date at the top and, if it affects how your data is used, tell the people already in the pilot.
